From Oxford United to Real Kashmir

Kashif Siddiqi's move to one of the most militarised and contentious regions
It’s not your typical football transfer, but Kashif Siddiqi is preparing for his move from British club Oxford United to Real Kashmir, in one of the most militarised and politically contentious regions in the world.

He will be playing for the only professional football club in Indian-administered Kashmir, a region which has been on lockdown since India revoked it's partial autonomy in August.

Siddiqi co-founded Football for Peace in 2013. The charity describes itself as a "youth sports movement that uses the global football influence as a force for good.

So, how did the move come about?
