The government says Cumbria will have a share of more than £62m - which will go to parts of Yorkshire, the North East and the South East.
Projects in Kendal, Egremont and Flimby, near Maryport will receive the funding.
£5m is going to Kendal to pay for the final stage of work in the town.
Egremont will get £1.65m and Flimby is in line for £400,000.
