Military representatives from Australia and New Zealand are in Jersey to represent their countries at the annual Anzac Day commemorations for the first time.
The day remembers the sacrifice of thousands of soldiers, sailors and airmen during World War One and Two.
Group Captain Anthony Martin from the Royal Australian Air Force and Lt Marc Griffiths from the Royal New Zealand Navy took part in a dawn ceremony at the Cenotaph before visiting the rest of the island.
The prince is joined by his fiancee Meghan Markle at the service at Hyde Park Corner in London.
The day marking the countries' participation in World War One is a time of remembrance and national pride.
