Tories gain six seats
The SNP and Labour won 11 seats each in this election and the Conservatives increased their presence from one seat to seven in North Ayrshire.
The council was previously a minority Labour administration.
Note: The 2012 election saw 30 seats contested. Following boundary changes, the 2017 election had 33 seats up for grabs.
