There are calls for more HGV parking in Buckinghamshire in a bid to stop lorry drivers using the roadside as a "lavatory".
The county council has developed a major plan to manage lorry traffic across Buckinghamshire amid complaints of HGV traffic in small villages.
At a full council meeting, Lesley Clarke, Conservative councillor for Abbey ward in High Wycombe, asked what action is being taken to improve HGV parking.
"I want to make sure we don't have lorries that just park on the side of the road and think that every blade of grass is there for them to use as a lavatory," she said.
Cabinet member for transport, Mark Shaw, said he is "aware" of the issues HGVs cause across the county, and that the problem will be addressed.
