An MP has raised concerns over the release from prison of double child killer Colin Pitchfork.
Pitchfork, who raped and murdered 15-year-old schoolgirls Lynda Mann and Dawn Ashworth in 1983 and 1986 in Leicestershire, has been allowed out of prison under escort.
He's also been pictured on an unsupervised visit to Bristol.
Alberto Costa, MP for South Leicestershire, said he wanted assurances from the Ministry of Justice that his constituents were safe.
In response, justice secretary David Gauke told the Commons that the victim's families had been consulted.
