NHS staff
Annie Anderson

Frontline NHS workers at Queen Elizabeth hospital in Woolwich pose for a positive picture as they prepare to enter the coronavirus isolation zone.

Posting on social media, Annie Anderson, said: "This is today's team this morning, just before they entered the isolation zone.

"These guys are so amazing and I'm so lucky to be part of such an amazing team.

"This is real. It's happening. We don't know what the next few months will bring but we know we are the best people for the job.

"Follow the advice. Make your parents stay at home. Stay away from the pub. Wash your hands and then wash them again."

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS trust said: "Words can't really express how proud we are of our staff working through the current challenging circumstances. We'll say it again - thank you all."
