The kids' cartoon shows colourful genitals dancing, some wearing hats or glasses - and it's caused complaints in Sweden.
Now the maker of the video, Johan Holmstrom, has told Newsbeat he thinks some people are just "more uptight".
The clip, released by children's channel Barnkanalen, is from a show that aims to educate kids about their bodies.
It's been viewed millions of times, with many parents praising it.
Some, however, have criticised the film, called Snoppen och Snippan, posting comments below the YouTube video claiming that it's not suitable for young children.
"I was quite surprised with some of the comments. I personally have a pretty easy-going attitude towards life," Johan tells Newsbeat.
"Some people are obviously more uptight. But I'd say the general opinion leans towards my values. We do have penises and vaginas - that's just a fact."
The clip was briefly classified as an "adult" video on YouTube, meaning that viewers had to confirm they were over 18 in order to view it.
Broadcaster SVT intervened and the video has since been recategorised.
Johan has produced more than 30 songs for Bacillakuten, which airs on public television in Sweden.
Now in its third season, the show teaches children about the body and everyday illnesses and is aimed at an age group similar to that of CBeebies in the UK.
"I thinks it's just all great fun. I didn't expect this [attention] at all," says Johan.
"I got a good feeling having written Snoppen och Snippan - like I've had with a couple of more songs from the show - when you really know that 'the kids are going to love this'."
