A centre for cancer patients in Lanarkshire, Scotland, is one of six UK buildings to be shortlisted for the 2015 Riba Stirling Prize for architecture. While a select line-up of judges will decide the winner, the BBC, in partnership with the Riba, is inviting you to vote for your favourite.

What is it and where?

The latest Maggie's Cancer Caring Centre was designed by Reiach and Hall Architects. The building is set in the car parks of the Monklands District Hospital in Airdrie, Lanarkshire.

How much did it cost?

£1.8m

What was the vision?

To create a sympathetic environment for hospital patients who have received a cancer diagnosis, and for the ongoing support of cancer patients and their families.
