Andy Powell took this picture at 06:37 GMT while stuck on the A483 southbound at Wrexham, after a 12-hour nightshift. "Feeling tired, just want to get home but the traffic's not moved since around 6am," he said.

Roddy Stewart passed this bus a few moments after it got into difficulty near Killearn, Glasgow. There were no injuries, he said. Driving conditions in much of the UK remain extremely hazardous.

For those that make their living outside, work was more of a struggle than usual. Amanda Owen took this picture of her husband getting through the snow to feed the sheep, near Keld in Swaledale, North Yorkshire.

Derek Roger shared this view from his patio in Buckley, Flintshire. "It started snowing at about 9pm last night and hasn't stopped since," he said. "We've just turned the heating up to maximum!"
