Three sought after cash machines targeted

Suspects on CCTV
Surrey Police

Three men are being sought after a cash machine in Camberley was deliberately set alight.

The incident at a Sainsbury's Local store in Heather Ridge Arcade was caught on CCTV at about 03:00 BST earlier.

Surrey Police said three men in dark clothing with their faces covered got out of a dark coloured car - believed to be similar to a BMW 5 Series or Audi A6 - in the car park.

They walked up and down the parade of shops before returning to the car to collect items and then attempting to use a substance to cause an explosion inside the cash machine. No cash was taken.

It is believed to be linked to a similar incident outside a post office in Yateley, Hampshire.

There is also believed to have been a third attempted theft in Ripley.
