  3. Pedestrian seriously injured in Kent road crash

    A pedestrian has been seriously injured in a car crash in Canterbury.

    A red Jaguar XF car was travelling east on Broad Oak Road, towards the junction with Vauxhall Road, when it hit a man, police said.

    His injuries are described as serious and he was flown to a London hospital for treatment.

    The crash took place at 19.50 GMT on Monday.

    Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who saw the crash.
