Reward offered in hunt for escaped rapist

A £1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a convicted rapist who absconded from an open prison.

Stephen Tierney, 39, has not been seen since 3 July when he walked out of HMP North Sea Camp, near Boston.

Lincolnshire Police say they are investigating possible sightings in Norfolk, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.

The force say Tierney poses a risk to the public and has advised people not to approach him.

A police spokesman said he also poses a "high risk" to anyone who enters in to a relationship with him.

Fire and ambulance crews have begun moving into a £21m building on South Park in Lincoln, and police officers are due to move into the centre later this year.

It's the first combined fire, ambulance and police station in the country.
