    A planning inspector has ordered the demolition of a controversial biogas plant.

    People living near Crouchlands Farm close to Billingshurst say their lives have been blighted by lorries taking farm waste in and biogas out of the facility, and that it had become a large scale industrial operation in the heart of the countryside.

  13. Witness appeal after two men died in a crash

    Two men died after a crash involving a motorbike.

    Almners Road, Chertsey, was closed for hours from around 16:45 BST on Sunday 8 October.

    Sussex Police said it was a single vehicle collision and the men were pronounced dead at the scene.

    Officers are still working to establish the circumstances around the crash, and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
