Virgin Media will be allowed to restart cabling work in Lewes next Monday.

But after a meeting the company described as 'productive', the council agreed to allow more cabling work.

It said the council would supervise work more closely, and require that it was of a "proper" standard.

Quote Message: However, the work on the ground must be carried out to a proper standard, and the company must improve its engagement with residents.
