Sussex MPs joins Brexit rebellion

Hove MP Peter Kyle was among 89 MPs who voted against triggering Article 50 in tonight's Commons vote.

Brighton and Hove's Green MP Caroline Lucas also voted against.

MPs backed the government to formally start EU withdrawal no later than the end of March 2017, but only if it publishes its Brexit plan first.

Tributes to teenage show jumper who died in crash

British Showjumping has paid tribute to 18-year-old Ella Popely,who died when her Fiat 500 crashed on Leith Hill Road in Dorking.

Surrey police said she lost control of her car following a "minor collision" with an Audi near the junction with Abinger Road at about 10:40 GMT on Tuesday.

Nigel Farage has been pipped for the title of Time magazine's Person of the Year by US President-elect Donald Trump.

The former Ukip leader was named on the shortlist for the US magazine's 90th annual choice of the person who "had the greatest influence, for better or worse, on the events of the year".

But Mr Trump was chosen to receive the prestigious title and feature on the famous Time front page photo.

Have you seen this missing teenager?

Police are concerned for a missing teenager from Bognor.

Andrea Mehmetja, 16, went missing from his home in Bognor on Monday 28 November and hasn't been seen since. 

It is believed he may have travelled to Canterbury in Kent where he has connections.

Andrea is 5ft 7in tall, slim, with short black hair. He is originally from Albania but speaks very good English.
