  2. Southern strike: Brighton station 'quiet this morning'

    Morning commuters have started to arrive at Brighton railway station.

  3. Commuters 'disguntled' at strike impact on journeys

    BBC South East reporter Ali Fortescue is at Three Bridges railway station.

    She says: "A lot of those passengers I've spoken to this morning are fairly disgruntled. 

    "They say they've had to get up hours earlier than usual to try to get to London on time."

  4. Southern rail passengers warned to expect major delays

    Commuters in Sussex are being warned to expect major disruption as conductors on Southern trains stage the first of three 24-hour strikes.

    RMT union members are expected to walk out at 11:00 BST in a dispute over driver-only trains. Southern say there will be a limited service from about 07:30 BST.
