    Fire crews remain at the scene of a fire at an agricultural business in Metfield near Halesworth. 

    Ian Mallet, group commander for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, said: "There is a significant stack which will be alight for some time.

    "We would advise people is to stay out of the limited smoke plume that there is now, and if they're downwind to keep their windows and doors shut as much as possible."

    Eleven fire appliances have been at the scene since it started at 01:45, and five pumps remain.

  2. Fifty firefighters tackle Metfield farm complex blaze

    More than 50 firefighters have been on the scene of a fire at an agricultural business at Metfield near Halesworth.

    Crews from Suffolk and Norfolk were called to one building on The Common just before 02.00, but it later spread to three other buildings.

    BBC Suffolk's learned that no-one has been injured and the fire has been brought under control.
