  12. Farm fire continues to smoulder two months on

    Fire crews have attended the site of a former rubbish blaze in Staffordshire.

    Crews were called to Oak Tree Farm, Rugeley, this morning, after one of the stacks was disturbed and smoke was released, more than two months after the fire started.

    The fire - made up of 1,000 tonnes of waste, mainly shredded wood - started at Oak Tree Farm in Rugeley on 5 September.

  13. Watch: Police chase leads to 'heroin cloud'

    Dashboard camera footage captured by Staffordshire Police officers shows a cloud engulfing the southbound carriageway of the M6 in July last year, shutting a stretch near Staffordshire. 

    On Friday, two men from Birmingham were jailed for three years for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
