Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust was rated as "requires improvement" by the Care Quality Commission in January.

Now the trust has been rated "good" after a follow-up inspection.

Oxford United's hope of reaching the third round of the EFL Cup is over after a 4-2 defeat at home to Brighton.

Following an equaliser from Wes Thomas, United were level until 15 minutes before the end but three goals in quick succession from the visitors meant Dan Crowley's late strike was only a consolation.

Boss Michael Appleton felt the scoreline was a harsh reflection on his side's performance.

Quote Message: Apart from the result, and going out of the competition, we were delighted in our performance. There were some outstanding individual performances from us. When it was 1-1 I thought we were on top. For us there were some positive performances from an attacking point of view. The only solace I can take from going out of the competition is that it was in 90 minutes and not after extra-time. from Michael Appleton Oxford United head coach
