Your comments: Young MS sufferer in home for elderly
Facebook
A story about a young woman with MS, who had to live in a care home with elderly people, has got a lot of you talking on Facebook.
Before 38-year-old Joanne Head, pictured right, died in 2015, she had to have 24-hour care due. Her sister Vicky Cook, pictured left, said most residents in the home were over 65 and some had dementia.

Pat Lilley said: "This is truly awful. I blame this sort of thing on the government. Cutting back on necessary provision for care. England is so short of so much yet it lets money go out to other countries before looking after their own."
Michael Broughton said: "If you are under 21 or over 65 there seems to be care accommodation available but between those ages there are little or no provision. My lovely sister had MS in her 40’s and we seriously struggled to find anywhere in the UK that could look after her that wasn’t geriatric."
Decision made over controversial plans to build 100 homes
Controversial plans to build more than 100 homes on a council-owned plot of green space in Leicester have been approved.
More than 700 residents objected to the proposal to develop parts of the eight acre Franklyn Fields site off Lutterworth Road in Aylestone but the council’s planning committee voted through the scheme.
