  4. Want to know what the weekend's weather will be like?

    If you've got plans for over the Bank Holiday weekend, it's going to be a mix of sunshine and showers.

    It will start dry tomorrow but rain will move in in the afternoon with potential for heavy, thundery downpours in the evening.

    On Sunday it will stay cloudy with scattered showers and ending much drier, but the best day comes on Monday, which will be mostly dry and bright.

  5. New Forest goalie could make debut

    Forest may hand a debut to their newly signed goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic as they try to keep a clean sheet against Leeds tomorrow.  

    No one can doubt the first two home games have been exciting for Forest; they have won both 4-3.

    But the challenge ahead of the Reds is to stem the flow of goals against them, as they are yet to keep a clean sheet.

    The documentary has been produced by Anna Griffin and directed by Benjamin Wigley from Nottingham-based Artdocs.

    It followed Paa Joe when he came to Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire to make a lion coffin as an artwork.

  7. Visitor centre will be 'first class' says councillor

    Deputy Gedling Borough Council leader, Michael Payne, thinks £1.2m is value for money for a new visitor centre at Gedling Country Park.

    He said residents had called for something like this and a children's play area, and they were getting that.

    "I hope those who are perhaps yet to be persuaded, once the facility is open will be impressed," he said. "Because I think it will be a first class facility."

    It's been five years in the making - but this weekend you'll be able see a documentary film following an incredible Ghanaian coffin maker.

    The film, Paa Joe & The Lion, is being shown at the the Broadway Cinema on Sunday and I've been to meet the two Nottingham film makers behind it.

    If you thought holiday season was nearly over- you're wrong - East Midlands Airport is expecting one of its busiest weekends of the year.

    More than 90,000 passengers are expected to travel through it this bank holiday... not me though unfortunately.

  11. People say centre will 'create too much traffic'

    The new visitor centre at Gedling Country Park will include toilets, a cafe and exhibition space - and work will start in September or October. 

    However, some people who were against the plans, said the centre would disturb the tranquility of the site and lead to too much traffic.

    Plans for a visitor centre at Gedling Country Park have been given the go ahead.

    The building, which will cost around £1,2m, will be built out of black material to reflect coal and the site's mining history.

    Adam Brown, a friend of Michael Bugg, who set up the fundraising page for his daughter has been speaking to BBC Radio Nottingham.

    He said: "Speaking to his mum and sister, what they are drawing on is the outpouring of tributes."

  15. MP abused on Twitter for backing leadership contender

    Labour MP for Nottingham South Lilian Greenwood has been sharing on Twitter abuse she's received for telling people why she's backing Owen Smith in the leadership contest.

    She said she's been called a "traitor " and "pseudo Tory" as well as being told by one person to "never contact me again" and another hoping she would be de-selected.

    She said most responses had been polite but asked whether she should ignore the abuse or even expect it as an MP.

  16. Man dies in Babworth crash

    Police say a man, aged 26, has died following the accident on A620 Babworth Road in Babworth, near Retford.

    It happened at 23:45 last night, and involved two cars. The man died at the scene.

    A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
