    The rain is working in now and it will be on and off for the rest of the day.

    There will be some heavier pulses at times too but it will eventually clear away overnight and become dry again with some clear spells. 


     Temperatures will slide into single figures in rural areas again with a minimum of 8C (46F).  

  3. Rally to show 'everyone is welcome' in Nottingham

    BBC East Midlands Today's Jeremy Ball is at the rally that starts at the Brian Clough Statue soon.

    He said a few dozen people were already there and some people had told him about racist incidents they had encountered since the EU referendum result on Friday.

    Organisers of the rally said they wanted to show that Nottingham was not a divided city and everyone is welcome.

    Some have named Boris Johnson but business minister Anna Soubry refused to answer.

  6. Montanier wants to recruit new players

    Montanier is taking questions from the press through a French interpreter and says he will bring two 'assistants' with him who understand his 'methodology' .

    It ends with Notts 81-2 in their second innings, a deficit of 71.

  9. Polish residents told to 'go home' says editor

    A rally takes place tonight near Nottingham's Market Square to show support for Europeans living in the city following last week's EU Leave vote and reports of racist incidents around the country.

    Dr Beata Polanowska, the editor of a Polish language newspaper for the East Midlands, said she had been told of children in playgrounds asking Polish children when they were going home.

    She said other Poles in Nottingham had been asked by their neighbours why they were still here and had been posted notes telling them to 'go home'.

  11. Woman wanted after Worksop attack

    A woman was assaulted near the Ashley Hotel in Worksop on Friday night and suffered a facial injury. Police say they are now trying to find the woman who attacked her.
