    A war of words has raged between Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and West Bromwich Albion's Tony Pulis - but it appears the Reds boss is now keen to move on.

    The teams' firey 2-2 drawended with Klopp declining to shake Pulis's hand, before lambasting the Baggies' long-ball style. Pulis then hit back by claiming his side only played three more long passes than Liverpool.

    But speaking earlier today, Klopp said: "I can say sorry for everything I said in the game. I am very emotional and Tony Pulis is similar."

  8. Charity issues 'Mad Friday' health warning

    People across Merseyside and Cheshire will be out celebrating tonight on what has come to be known as Mad Friday.

    It's the last working Friday in December, and one of the biggest drinking nights, with people expected to drink more alcohol on this day than on any other day of the year.

    The Alcohol Concern charity has called it "booze's Black Friday", and is urging people to join their Dry January campaign and take a break from drinking in the new year.

  12. Woman jailed for using boy as 'plaything'

    A woman who used a 15-year-old boy as a 'sexual plaything' has been jailed after the Court of Appeal overturned her suspended sentence.

    Marie Margaret McCarthy, 62, of Enid Street, Liverpool, abused the boy for five weeks when she was in her 30s.

    Anyone who may have seen an alleged attack on a baby in a Liverpool supermarket is being urged to come forward.
