Greater Manchester Police tweeted about a man found staggering in a car park, who was incapable of using a ticket machine, who was found to be over the legal drink drive limit.
A man was robbed at knifepoint as he walked along a path near a park and football field in Wigan.
He was approached on the path leading from Fraser Road to Scot Lane at about 23:15 on 20 July.
Greater Manchester Police said the knife was put to his chest before the assailant, thought to be in his 30s, took his money and ran off towards a nearby estate.
North West MEP and UKIP leadership hopeful Steven Woolfe has been ruled "ineligible" to stand in the contest to replace Nigel Farage - after he submitted his papers late.
The party's NEC said it had voted by a "clear majority" to exclude Mr Woolfe - previously seen as the frontrunner.
The Manchester-born MEP said he was "extremely disappointed" by the decision, and three NEC members have quit in protest.
Jonathan Arnott, Bill Etheridge, Diane James, Lisa Duffy, Phillip Broughton and Elizabeth Jones are on the ballot.

Holidaymakers who were delayed for more than 39 hours at Manchester Airport can apply for compensation on the Small Planet website, the airline has confirmed.
The Lithuanian operator apologised for the inconvenience and stress and said this was "one of the most difficult technical situations we've experienced in some time".
The firm "actively" looked for a replacement aircraft but no options were available until Wednesday, it said, adding: "We made every effort to take care of [passengers] by organising welfare as well as hotels with meals and transportation so that they could wait for their flights as comfortably as possible"
Two flights that were due to depart from Manchester Airport to Dubai have been delayed following a crash at Dubai International Airport - all passengers were evacuated safely.
The aircraft had been due to leave at 10:00 and 14:00 - but both are delayed, Manchester Airport has said.
It is not yet clear what will happen to an inbound flight from Dubai, due to arrive in Manchester at 19:20 - and another one due to arrive at 07:20 tomorrow.

Traffic continues to be very slow in the roadworks on Regent Road eastbound in Salford, between Regent Road roundabout and the Oldfield Road junction.

A passenger who was delayed for 25 hours on a Small Planet plane last month has emailed to say she feels for the passengers on the delayed Corfu flight, that finally landed this morning.
Linda Harrison faced the delays on 18 July and described the customer care as "terrible, if non-existent." The plane had problems with its air conditioning.
She said: "We have submitted a claim for compensation but have heard nothing from them yet."
University of Manchester and University of Massachusetts researchers have diagnosed a dinosaur from America with septic arthritis - a condition seen in modern birds, crocodiles and humans.
The condition affected the elbow joint of the Hadrosaur - a duck-billed dinosaur - resulting in a fused joint covered in bony growths.

BBC Radio Manchester Sports team's tour of five press conferences in less than 24 hours has begun at Rochdale.
A man has died after he was found unconscious on Roch Valley Way in Bamford at about 02:30.
He was taken to hospital after suffering head injuries and a cardiac arrest but died a short time later.
Police said his death is being treated as "unexplained" and are appealing for information.
Paul Kenny is among the passengers who have now arrived at Corfu more than 38 hours after their Small Planet flight from Manchester Airport was due to take off.
He said he and his family were determined to "make the most" of the remaining time left of their holiday.
"People just want to be sitting by the pool with a cold beer in their hands. Most families on this flight are only here for a week and this is the morning of our third day.
"We stood around very patiently for long periods of time [on Tuesday] and there were raised voices at times, particularly yesterday morning."
