Man arrested over cyber fraud

A 47-year-old man from Manchester has been arrested as part of a Europe-wide probe into cyber fraud, said police.

Police seized £10,000 from the man and arrested him on suspicion of fraud and money laundering in Withington as 34 arrests also took place in four Spanish cities over the cyber scam.

The Duchess of Cornwall will be in Manchester today to officially open a new centre at Christie Hospital.

Maggie's - designed by architect Norman Foster - will provide support to people with cancer and their families and friends. 

The Duchess will also visit the St Mary's Centre which works with the victims of sexual assault and a project which helps children affected by their parents' mental health problems.

Delays of up to 45 minutes are being reported as recovery work continues.
