The team is due in Skegness in time for the One Show on BBC One at 19.00 this evening.

I'm in the resort to help with the coverage and just managed to grab this video as the vessel was brought through for tonight's celebrations.

    Sharon Edwards

    Political Reporter, BBC Radio Lincolnshire

Another candidate has come forward for the Sleaford and North Hykeham by-election which came just over a week ago by the resignation of Conservative Stephen Phillips.

Nominations closed at 16.00 today and Sarah Stock says she is standing as an independent candidate.

Ms Stock says she's been prompted to stand in protest over the overnight closure of Grantham Hospital's A&E department.

    Sarah Stock

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust says the department has closed overnight because it cannot recruit enough A&E staff across the county.

The unit in Grantham serves a large part of the Sleaford and North Hykeham constituency.

  10. 'Skint' estate plan 'will create positive feeling'

    BBC Radio Humberside

Work to demolish part of a North Lincolnshire estate will create a positive feeling among residents.

Scunthorpe’s Westcliff Estate was featured in the Channel 4 documentary 'Skint' in 2013. Since then the council’s agreed to lead a £9m re-development of the area.

The Desert Rat pub, local library and bookmakers will be knocked down to make way for 41 new homes, new shops and a community centre.

The deputy leader of North Lincolnshire Council Rob Waltham says it's important for residents to see tangible change.
