  9. Boston golfer continues Open campaign

    Boston's Dave Coupland is playing in The Open again today.

    He got off too a roaring start yesterday, shooting a one-over-par 72 better than the world number one Jason Day 

    He starts at just after 4 o'clock this afternoon. A round of even par today should see him make the cut for the weekend.

    Police want to speak to this man after a kettle was stolen from an electrical store in Sheep Market, Spalding.

  11. Grantham man jailed for rapes

    Rapist Darren Blackley has been jailed for 16 years.

    Blackley, 36, pleaded guilty to eight counts of rape and two other charges, involving children, at Lincoln Crown Court today.

    His crimes took place across 2015 and 2016.

  12. Traffic and Travel: Crash on the A158

    A diversion is in place on the A158 in Gunby with queuing traffic in both directions. 

    There's been a crash between Baker's Lane junction and the Greengate Road junction.

    If you were hoping to get a ticket for an extra performance of Jesus Christ Superstar today then I'm afraid you're too late

    They've sold out in just SEVEN minutes this morning.  

    The extra date was added when tickets sold out for the original run of performances in August in five and a half hours.

  15. UKIP County Councillor considering a leadership bid

    In a shocking event in a week of shocking events, Nigel Farage stepped down as the leader of UKIP at the beginning of last week. 

    Obviously he's left some big shoes to fill as well as questions about the party's future now that Britain has voted to leave the European Union.

    One of those looking to fill them is Lincolnshire County Councillor Victoria Ayling, we're going to speak to her about her leadership ambitions a bit later on.

  16. Memorial service to be held for hero dog

    A heroic military dog who saved more than 1,000 lives during five tours of duty will be remembered at a service tomorrow. 

    The Springer spaniel Buster earned a row of campaign medals for his service of duty to Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. 


    Buster retired in 2011 and died last year at the the home of his handler, Flight Sergeant Will Barrow in Lincolnshire. The service will be held at RAF Waddington.
