  4. Traffic and travel: A16 now clear

    The A16 north of Spalding has now fully reopened after an accident. The road was closed at the Springfields roundabout - but recovery work's now complete.

    There are delays on the A1077 in Scunthorpe this evening because of an accident involving a car and a lorry. It's between the B1430 Normanby Road junction and Frodingham Grange Roundabout. Recovery work's under way.

  6. New problem for 'Chubby' Brown as another show called off

    Lincolnshire comedian Roy "Chubby" Brown has had another show called off - this time in Cumbria.

    The stand-up comic's been told his show is "inappropriate" for Egremont Market Hall by Egremont Town Council.

    Brown, who lives with his family near Louth, saw another show cancelled earlier this month in Nottinghamshire. More than 200 people had bought tickets for the Egremont show.

    His manager Stuart Littlewood has accused councilors of being "arrogant and small-minded" and said their decision was a "disgrace".

  7. Church lights up for Down's Syndrome Day

    Boston’s iconic church is set to be lit up blue and yellow for a weekend to ‘celebrate the diversity that life with someone with Down's syndrome brings’. 

    The Boston event has been organised by Charlotte Clarkson, whose five-year-old daughter Isabella has the condition.

  9. A16 accident: No serious injuries

    We've heard from Lincolnshire Police about the accident which has blocked the A16 near Spalding.

    Officers say the crash involves four cars and a lorry. The road is closed between the McDonalds and Pinchbeck roundabouts for recovery work to take place.

    A police spokesman said: "One casualty is being treated but it doesn’t looks as though they are badly hurt."

  13. Stage set for theatre sale

    Fancy owning a piece of Lincoln's entertainment history? Well now's your chance. 

    The city's Theatre Royal has gone on the market - but the curtain's not coming down on performances.

    Nicola Dickens from the theatre says they're two years into a 10-year lease and it's just the freehold that's for sale.

    So if you do buy it you've still got eight Christmas pantomimes to get through before the lease is up.

  15. Warning to horse owners after tack theft

    Kitting out a horse is an expensive business and horse owners in Lincolnshire are facing an even bigger bill after some were targeted by thieves. 

    £2,000 worth of tack was stolen from one farm in Faldingworth near Market Rasen.

    Police are appealing for anyone who can help find the equipment to come forward.  

  16. Reassurance over bus cuts concern

    There's hope that cuts to some bus services in the county won't go ahead as thought. 

    Concerns were raised last week about the Nipper service between Louth and Horncastle.

    But John Hough, the leader of the Labour opposition at Lincolnshire County Council told me today they're working with officials and the contractor to keep daytime services in particular running.     

  17. Roads re-open in Mablethorpe after police investigation

    All the roads in Mablethorpe have re-opened after a police incident closed down part of the town this morning. 

    Police investigated after blood was found on the pavement in the early hours but we've just heard there were no suspicious circumstances. 

    Police said "We are satisfied that the man in Mablethorpe was injured as the result of a fall and nobody else was involved."
