    A letter signed by health professionals and six Lincolnshire MPs says there's a crisis in recruitment and more doctors need to be trained to help fill the gaps.

    A cat has had a narrow escape after becoming trapped in a pet food tin.

    Vicky Jacobs from Gainsborough sent this footage to Look North after helping the young cat which got its head stuck.

  7. Former Lincolnshire clergyman faces jail for sex assault

    A former Lincolnshire clergyman has been warned he faces prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a teenage girl.

    Stephen Crabtree, who served as the rector of Washingborough and Heighington, admitted six charges of indecent assault on a 15 year old girl in the early 1990's. 

  8. Skegness murder: Appeal for witnesses

    Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Skegness have released the victim's name. 

    Wayne Baxter died from stab wounds earlier this week. 

    Mr Baxter, who was 44, was discovered seriously injured at a house on Croft Bank on Wednesday evening. He died in hospital a short time later.

    Detectives say he attended a funeral earlier in the day and believe an altercation took place at the wake, which took place in the Woolpack Pub. 

    They're appealing for witnesses.  

  9. A18 crash: Inquest told about another accident on the same road

    An inquest into the deaths of five members of the same family has been hearing about another incident at a similar location on the A18 at Laceby near Grimsby.

    The Cockburn family were killed almost 3 years ago when their car collided with a lorry as they were heading to Skegness.  

    Four months earlier in January 2013 a woman crashed after hitting the same ditch.

  11. Travel: Overturned lorry closes A17 between Boston and Sleaford

    A stretch of the A17 in south Lincolnshire is closed after a lorry overturned.

    It happened at Kirkby La Thorpe and the road is shut in both directions.

  13. New Lincoln University campus: More details revealed about Riseholme plan

    The University of Lincoln has revealed a 20 million pound masterplan for its Riseholme Campus.

    It includes a school of agri-food technology, a heritage outreach centre and new playing fields.

  15. Skegness murder: Victim named

    Lincolnshire Police have named the victim of Wednesday's stabbing as 44 year old Wayne Baxter.

    A local man and woman remain in custody and the police have been given more time to question them.
