    Nathan Cumberland, who lost both legs while serving in Afghanistan, is training for the city's 20th annual road race. 

    Nathan will be attempting the six mile course on his prosthetic limbs whilst his mate Iain Maynard will be doing it with a fridge strapped to his back.

    It's taking place on Sunday the 17th of April if you want to join in.

  4. Another Lincolnshire shop has it's alcohol license take away

    The Baltic Store on Winsover Road in Spalding has become the sixth store to have it's license removed in this year alone after police found thousands of contraband cigarettes.

    When police raided the premises they found false walls and cavities completely filled with the contraband.

    Police want your help to find 87-year-old Harold Sinclair who hasn't been seen for three hours.

  8. BreakingSpalding Grammar School teachers to go on strike

    Teachers have unanimously voted to go on strike after after the school refused to implement a 1% pay increase being brought in at every other school in the county. 

    The National Union of Teachers say there will be strike action taking place on Wednesday 24th February and Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd March.

  11. Baby death: Body 'may have been there for some time'

    Earlier we told you about the discovery of the remains of a baby in the garden drain of a house on Scartho Road

    A post-mortem will take place on Monday, currently the death is being treated as unexplained.

  12. Skellingthorpe ram-raid update

    Police say they're looking for four men in connection with the ram-raid that happened in the early hours of the morning.

    They've also confirmed that the gang crashed into a police car and drove at officers as they tried to flee the scene.

    Police were called to the incident on Jerusalem Road at about 2:30am as the gang, who were all wearing balaclavas, attempted to smash their way into the store with a JCB to get to the cash machine.

  14. Appeal to find missing 17-year-old from Grimsby

    Humberside Police want your help in finding missing Harry Rowbotham, who hasn't returned home since Tuesday. 

    He has been seen in the Top Town and Freshney Place areas of Grimsby since then but his family are growing increasingly concerned for his health and wellbeing.

    He's described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall with a medium build and he has light brown short hair. He was last seen wearing a beige coloured hooded jacket, a fairisle style jumper, denim jeans and grey and orange Adidas trainers.

  15. New exhibition in the Lincoln museum

    A life-sized replica of The Russell Chantry in Lincoln Cathedral has been built as part of an exhibition at a Lincoln museum 

    The mural inside the chapel was produced by one of the Bloomsbury set, Duncan Grant, whose unorthodox life meant it wasn't open to the public for 30 years.

    German abstract artist Lothar Gotz has been commissioned to create his interpretation of the mural on the walls of a replica Russell Chantry within The Collection.

  17. Police appeal for information about hit and run in Scunthorpe

    Officers want your help to find a white transit-style van that hit a man on the A18 Kingsway yesterday.

    It happened at around midday and the man had to be taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries. 

  18. Sport: Boston's new signing on tonight's Friday Football

    Lots of excitement from Boston United fans about their new signing in midfield, Stephane Ngamvoulou who joined the club last night from Whitehawk.

    When I speak to Pilgrims' supporters, they say the one thing the teams lacks is a powerful, strong central midfielder and the hope is that Stephane will fill that void.

    He's been likened to Manchester City's Yaya Toure by some and I'll be speaking him this evening on Friday Football at 6PM on BBC Radio Lincolnshire.
