Leicester woman has been sentenced to six months in prison for her drunken behaviour while on board a plane bound for East Midlands Airport.
Kiran Jagdev's actions while intoxicated on the Jet2 flight from Tenerife in January,also caused a fellow passenger
to have a seizure, Leicester Crown Court heard.

The court was told the 41-year-old had gone on holiday alone and drank up to eight cans of beer ahead of the flight, as well as two bottles of wine while on board.
During the flight she was shouting,
crying, swearing and continuously kicking the seat in front of her which
distressed one passenger so much she had a seizure.
Then while the plane circled above East Midlands Airport because of problems landing due to high winds she shouted for 10 minutes "we are all going
to die".
This
episode came just days after she was convicted of assault in Tenerife, receiving a
suspended sentence there.
Judge Philip Head, said: "This was a dreadful experience for
those who were exposed to your behaviour."

Police said it was stolen from a water treatment works in Wanlip, Charnwood, some time between 17:00 on Friday 16 November and 6:00 the following Monday.

Two football fans have been banned from going to matches for three years after a pre-match pub disturbance that saw a police officer's finger broken.
A 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pushed a police officer and broke another officer's finger in a struggle at the South Bank Bar on Trent Bridge on 7 April ahead of a Notts County versus Coventry City League fixture.
He admitted assaulting a police officer when he appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on 15 November and was given a three-year football banning order and a youth referral order for six months.
Corey Ainsbury, 20, of Amos Jacques Road, Bedworth, Warwickshire, admitted using threatening behavior after throwing glasses.
He was also given a three-year banning order and was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work and a 12-month rehabilitation order with supervision.

Bodies found in search for mother and son

Two bodies have been found in the search for a mum and her five-year-old son.
Emma Sillett, 41, from Dinting, near Glossop and Jenson Spellman were last seen on Tuesday at a McDonald's in Hattersley.
Earlier police said they had found Ms Sillett's Peugeot 308 near the Valehouse Reservoir, near Tintwistle, Derbyshire.

Assistant Chief Constable Kem Mehmet said extensive searches had been carried out by police since the pair were reported missing.
He said the bodies were found at Valehouse Reservoir earlier today and added: "While the investigation is in its early stages, we have no indication that any other person is involved in their deaths."

Derby roads reopen after collisions

The A50 eastbound in Derby has reopened after it was closed this morning because of a serious crash.
Traffic is also flowing again on the A516 in Mickleover after another serious collision closed it this afternoon.
Both accidents caused serious delays around the city. No further details about them have been released by police.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are to visit Leicester City's King Power Stadium on Wednesday.
The football club said Kate and William would be paying tribute to those killed in the helicopter crash on 27 October – including Foxes owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha - and would recognise the
warmth and compassion the people of Leicester and fans had shown.

A post office in Spondon that was left severely damaged when thieves used explosives to steal a cash machine has had a festive makeover.
Three volunteers painted a Christmas message on the boarded-up frontage of the Chapel Street store to make it look less of an eyesore.
The sub-postmaster who runs the shop said recently it was not known when the post office would be able to reopen.

Treasured tiara taken in gallery theft

The famous Portland Tiara, described as one of the great historical tiaras of Great Britain, has been stolen from the Harley Gallery at the Welbeck Estate in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.
The tiara, which was made by Cartier in 1902, was taken in the theft between 21:45 and 22:00 on Tuesday evening.
A diamond brooch, which was with the tiara in an armoured glass display case, was also taken.
As part of their investigation, Nottinghamshire Police said they were looking for information about a silver Audi S5 that is thought to have been used by the suspects.
It was found abandoned and burnt out in Cross Lane, Blidworth, half an hour later.

Pair arrested after lorry driven into police car

Two men have been arrested after a police car was hit several times by a lorry in Leicestershire last night.
The lorry had been followed along the A42 near Ashby-de-la-Zouch by officers at about 03:45 after a tip-off.
The collision happened after both vehicles came to a halt. The lorry was then driven off.
Leicestershire Police said the vehicle was recovered a short time later and two men, aged 34 and 38, were detained.
