Council advice to drivers using Cossington lanes

Amy Woodfield

BBC Local Live

Leicestershire County Council has put together a statement about the traffic issues people in Cossington are having.

They said: "We've worked closely with Network Rail and the contractors to encourage drivers to use the signposted diversion route. We're aware that some drivers are choosing to use Bennetts Lane and Back Lane, but we would urge them to use the diversion route and to watch their speed if they still decide to use the lanes."

They also said they will be carrying out "regular inspections" on the condition of the roads.

Hernandez joined from Sporting Gijon on a free transfer last summer but hasn't shown the kind of form for him to be a regular starter in the first-team. It simply hasn't worked out for him.
