Rather cloudy through this evening with a little showery rain for some, light and patchy and not all will see it. 

This continuing overnight and as we hold on to a lot of cloud it will be milder than of late with lows around 7C (45F).

Earlier I told you how the government plans to build a new prison at Glen Parva - well  Alberto Costa is the MP for South Leicestershire and has been talking to BBC Radio Leicester about the plans.

He says: "Parts of Glen Parva are in poor condition but the prison is in an area where there is demand for prison places. 

"I understand the government would therefore like to develop the site to be a Category C prison with increased capacity."

Police say they are "continuing with their enquiries" today into the deaths of a father and his two sons at a house in Hinckley.

They say post-mortem examinations on David, Adam and Matthew Stokes began last night - the results are expected later today.

Man arrested in Humberstone Gate crash released on bail

Remember this shocking footage from Humberstone Gate? A car mounted the pavement on Tuesday evening and hit several pedestrians, injuring four.

Well the 21-year-old man who was arrested has how been released on bail.

Police say the three men and one woman who were hurt have all been since been discharged from hospital.
