Police say they were called just after 06:30 to reports of a man with a bladed weapon causing damage to a property.

"In the interest of officer and public safety" the firearms officers were deployed.

A man was then arrested on suspicion of affray.

BreakingMan found guilty of stab murder

A jury has found 21-year-old Dominic Halliday-Fox from Derby guilty of murdering 17-year-old Dante Francis from Leicester. 

Halliday-Fox stabbed the teenager outside the Empire bar in Swadlincote in April. 

The judge at Nottingham Crown Court will pass sentence this afternoon.

Cockerill: 'It's not where you start it's where you finish'

Leicester Tigers boss Richard Cockerill insists they are still aiming to become Premiership champions this season. 

That's despite suffering a third defeat on Saturday.

A jury is considering a verdict on the death of a Leicester man outside a Derbyshire nightclub. 

Seventeen-year-old Dante Francis from Leicester was stabbed by 21-year-old Dominic Halliday-Fox from Derby outside the Empire bar in Sawdlincote in April. 

Mr Halliday-Fox has denied murder and said he just wanted to scare him away.  

The trial is taking place at Nottingham Crown Court.

The amount of drug given to Patricia Rosen was 16 times the usual starting dose of Oxycodone.

Police have issued an update on the suspected murder of Promise Ndvovu in Leicester over the weekend.

They say the three men they've arrested are still being questioned by detectives.

A post-mortem examination has been carried out but the results were "inconclusive" - more tests are now being carried out to find out the cause of death.
