    It will be dry with clear spells for the first half of the night but a band of more persistent rain will head in through the early hours and the winds will pick up too. Lows of 7C (45F).


    A wet start to tomorrow with some heavy outbreaks of rain first thing. 

    The rain will clear fairly quickly and it will brighten up quickly through the morning.

  3. Advanced warning of marathon road closures

    I know it's a few days away yet but the city council is warning of some road closures because of the marathon.

    I'll remind you again later in the week but if you are planning to leave the house on Sunday - remember there will be a lot of diversions.

    Loughborough Lightning have announced Jo Trip and Vanessa Walker have signed another deal with the club.

    Claudio Ranieri said he's had surgery on the bone today.

  15. Market trader concerns over higher rent fees

    Neil Carpenter, who runs a stall at the market, says: "They want to introduce a new cafe area. Now this will result in a decline of market stall spaces, which obviously then will have an impact on the rents we will pay."

    Mr Carpenter is also worried the market will be moved from the market place while the redevelopment work is carried out.

    He wants a proper consultation on the plans.

    Highways England is warning of delays of 90 minutes.

  18. M1 Crash: Lorry driver taken to hospital

    The fire service say the crash involved just the one lorry and the person driving it was trapped inside but has now been freed and taken to hospital in Nottingham.
