  4. Family say 'nothing can ever replace' daughter

    Alice Ruggle's mother, father, sister and two brothers have released a statement paying tribute.

    They said: "Alice saw the fun side of everything, she had an infectious personality and an incredible sense of humour.

    "She was kind, clever and beautiful; we are struggling to come to terms with the fact that she is not with us anymore.

    "She loved life, loved her friends and loved her job. She had so much to live for. Nothing can ever replace her."

  5. Leicestershire woman killed in 'isolated incident'

    Northumbria Police have now identified the 24-year-old woman believed to have been murdered in Gateshead last night...

    Alice Ruggles lived in Gateshead but is originally from the Leicestershire area.

    Police say this was an "isolated incident" and those involved are known to each other.

  6. Leicester woman dies in Gateshead

    Police in Gateshead are investigating the death of a woman believed to be from Leicester. 

    The emergency services were called out at about 18:30 last night to a report of concern for the welfare of a 24-year-old woman.

    When they arrived they found the woman with serious injuries - she was pronounced dead at the scene.

    A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

  7. Club raises money for players children

    Savanaca Kokoibulileka has left behind four sons.

    The club says it's in the process of raising money and setting up a trust fund for each child following the death of their father.

    So far more than £11,000 has been raised.

  8. England coach sends condolences to Oakham

    Oakham Rugby Club say they have received many messages of condolence including from the England rugby coach Eddie Jones.

    He said: "My deepest condolences to the club and Koro. We are deeply saddened by the news and pass on our best to the club and his family. 

    "Rugby gives us great pleasure and sometimes sadness. I am sure Koro will be resting peacefully."

  9. Funeral for Oakham rugby player

    The funeral for the Oakham rugby player who collapsed and died while playing last month will happen tomorrow.

    Oakham Rugby Club say on their website that there will be a service at the club for Savanaca Kokoibulileka.

    This will be followed by full military burial in the Commonwealth War Graves area of Cottesmore Graveyard.

    At the Leicester City press conference Claudio Ranieri gave his condolences to Leicester City’s owners and the Thai people following the death of King Bhumibol.

  16. Thai king dies

    The world's longest reigning monarch, the King of Thailand, has died

    King Bhumibol Adulyadej was 88-years-old and had been ill in hospital in Bangkok.

    In May this year the Leicester City squad paid their respects to a picture of the King during a visit to the Grand Palace in Bangkok.
