  10. Analysis: Walsh leaves Foxes for Everton

    Pat Murphy

    BBC Midlands football reporter

This is a major blow to the Premier League champions, a few days after losing N'Golo Kante to Chelsea and amid doubts that Riyad Mahrez will stay.

    Steve Walsh and Jamie Vardy

Walsh was the key man in luring both players to Leicester for bargain sums, along with Jamie Vardy.

Arguably he became the most important figure in Leicester's football department because he kept delivering unpolished gems from his countless scouting missions without breaking the bank.

He's been tempted away by what he sees as a career promotion and the vision of Everton's majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri.

  11. 'Star spotter' Walsh heads to Everton

    Tom Brown

BBC East Midlands Today digital sports reporter

Losing your star midfielder (N'Golo Kante) and the man who found him (Steve Walsh) in less than a week.

    Kante and Steve Walsh

    Big departures.

  12. Walsh was 'magnificent' at Foxes

    Calum McKenzie

    BBC Local Live

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has been speaking about how Steve Walsh's work at Leicester appealed to him.

"He has a great deal of knowledge about building for the long-term," the Dutchman told the Everton website.

"The magnificent work he did at Leicester on top of the job he did at Chelsea makes us excited to have him here at Everton."

  13. Walsh will be Everton's 'best signing of the summer'

    Ian Stringer

    BBC Radio Leicester's Foxes commentator

Truly gutted Steve Walsh has left Leicester - consummate pro, talented and a top man.
