    Here is a breakdown of the speeding offences that has seen the Duke of Rutland banned from driving: 

    • Driving at 59mph in a 50mph near Lowdham, Nottinghamshire, in November
    • Driving at 61mph in a 50mph stretch of the A1 between Scotch Corner and Barton in North Yorkshire in September
    • Driving at 73mph in a 50mph near Lowdham, Nottinghamshire, in March
    • Driving at 37mph in a 30mph on the A61 near Chesterfield in June last year
  8. Boundary changes could become clear in September

    The organisation with the responsibility for setting the constituency boundaries on which MPs will fight the next election says it will publish its initial proposals for future changes on 13 September.

  10. Men appear in court over boating lake murder

    Two men have appeared before magistrates after being charged with the murder of a man in Leicester last week.

    Brendon Mason, 23, was found in Abbey Park last Tuesday, and died in hospital. 

    Joshua Hack, 21, and Keith Lowe, 21, both from Leicester have been remanded in custody. They're due before crown court in August. 

  11. Multimillionaire noble accepts speeding fate

    Unsurprisingly, the duke, whose personal fortune is believed to be £140m, did not put forward "an argument of exceptional hardship" during the case. 

    "The court may consider that with the title he has and the property he resides in the defendant is of considerable means," his representative told the court.

  13. Cause of flooding should become clearer soon, council says

    In a statement, Leicestershire County Council said Mr and Mrs Lee and other flood victims will receive a letter this week, including a flood incident form, to help them understand what caused the flooding. 

    It added it is holding a meeting with the Environment Agency tomorrow and hopes to produce a full report by the end of September.

  14. Concerns over council's flood response

    Almost a month on from the floods, some residents are still waiting for help from the county council after their properties were affected.

    Helen and Nick Lee's house in Whitwick was flooded as both a nearby brook and culvert overflowed. 

    Despite asking for some support straight away to try to stop it happening again, the couple say they've yet to have any response from Leicestershire County Council.
