  5. Hospital bosses: 'Use 111 - not A&E'

    People are being advised to use the NHS 111 number, unless it's an emergency, to help ease pressure on Leicester's hospitals.

  12. Green plaque for 'Father of the Railways'

    You might remember me telling you yesterday about a plaque being unveiled at George Stephenson's former Leicestershire home yesterday. 

    Well the waiting is it is...

    For those of you unaware, Stephenson is known as the "Father of the Railways" after creating the first ever railway to carry passengers by steam locomotion.

  15. Manu Tuilagi loses weight gained on holiday

    Were you wondering what Manu Tuilagi was up to whilst he was out injured?

    According to Tigers boss Richard Cockerill he put on two and a half stone on holiday in Samoa. 

    He's now lost the weight and should be set for a return to action in January.
