That's all from us for today. We'll be back tomorrow from 06:30 with all the latest news, sport, weather and travel for Yorkshire.

Updates on breaking news will continue throughout the night, but before we go, let's look back at some of our top stories from today:

    1. Sheffield stab death: Murder accused appears in court
    2. Police name two young children killed in M62 crash
    3. Dewsbury man jailed for "truly horrific" attack and rape
    4. £300m Meadowhall expansion gets go-ahead

  8. Missing Huddersfield man found 'safe and well'

We mentioned earlier today that police were asking for help finding a man who'd gone missing from his home in Huddersfield.

The good news is that Andrew Taylor, 50, who'd been missing from his home in Lindley since Monday, has been found "safe and well", according to police.

  9. Are you the owner of this baby ID tag found in Wetherby?

If you have children, it's likely you've still got the tag they came out of hospital wearing as a reminder of the joyful (and probably quite harrowing) experience you went through.

But one Leeds resident has posted a plea on a Facebook group after finding one in an item bought from a Wetherby charity shop:

    Baby band

Natalie Hodson writes: "A long shot, but today I found this hospital band in a charity shop (Mind) in Wetherby inside a keepsake box.

"They may not want it back, but I wanted to share in case as I'd be really upset to lose my daughter's. I'm happy to post it back to the owner."

If you think you might know whose it is, drop us a line and we'll try and reunite you with it.

  10. Homeless 'hero' faces trial over Arena attack thefts

A homeless man who was hailed a hero after the Manchester Arena attack is to go on trial charged with stealing a purse and mobile phone from victims.

    Chris Parker

Chris Parker, 33, now from Halifax, pleaded not guilty to two counts of theft and two counts of attempted theft at Manchester Crown Court.

It is alleged he took the purse from Pauline Healey, whose 14-year-old granddaughter Sorrell Leczkowski, from Leeds, died in the explosion in May.

He will face a trial on 2 January.
