    For most a dry evening and night with variable cloud and clear periods. Under clearer skies and with a light breeze a touch of frost is likely as temperatures drop to 2C (36F) in some spots. 


    Tomorrow, we've got a chilly start but dry and bright at first with plenty of sunshine during the morning. Scattered showers developing during the afternoon, could be wintry over the hills. A maximum temperature of 10C (50F)ze.   

  3. Wakefield Trinity Wildcats: Mickael Simon extends contract

    Wakefield Trinity Wildcats prop Mickael Simon has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2017 season.

    Simon, 29, joined the Wildcats from Catalans Dragons, and has played nine times in Super League this year.

    A West Yorkshire man's been jailed for ten and a half years for a sex attack on a four-year-old boy.

    Thirty-year-old Tyler Lyness from Steeton, Keighley, also shared indecent images of the child on the internet.

    He was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court today.
