  1. Good evening

    Cardiff 0-2 Leeds

It's taken 32 years but Leeds have registered a win away at Cardiff, and they've done the double over the promotion hopefuls.

You can listen to our post-match interview with Steve Evans here.

We'll be back on Saturday to see if Leeds can make it three in three when they face Blackburn in the early kick-off. Thank you very much for joining us, and enjoy your evening.

  3. Elsewhere in the Championship

    Cardiff 0-2 Leeds

It was a good night for Huddersfield Town, who beat Reading 3-1, and struggling Rotherham managed a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough.

Burnley extended their lead at the top of the table with a 3-2 victory away at Fulham, while Ipswich threw away a two goal lead to draw 2-2 at Bolton.

  5. More from Noel

    Cardiff 0-2 Leeds

    Noel Whelan

    Ex-Leeds United striker

It was more of a positive side tonight and a complete contrast to Brighton. They rose to the challenge.

We hit them on the counter-attack and it was different to what we've seen before. They did it with purpose.

Marco Silvestri was outstanding. He's made some world class saves and he's had such an important role in this result.

  7. Popey on tonight's performance

    Cardiff 0-2 Leeds

    Adam Pope

    BBC West Yorkshire Sport

I didn't expect to win today - at best I thought a point.

Steve Evans and Paul Raynor are celebrating. There's emotion there, and a little bit of "we told you we could win."

All you heard tonight was Marching on Together at the stadium and that's all you'll hear on the way home. It's been a long time coming and it just makes everything seem so much better.

  9. Noel on today's win

    Cardiff 0-2 Leeds

    Noel Whelan

    Ex-Leeds United striker

You look at every single player this evening and they put a real shift it.

It was a hearty performance and one that we expect and love to see.

They've come here, frustrated them for 90 minutes - yes they've rode their luck but they've had a top quality goalkeeper. Some of the saves he made tonight were unreal.

That's Leeds United's first victory away at Cardiff since 1984, and back-to-back victories for Steve Evans and his side.

Marco Silvestri was sensational in goal, and despite a scrappy second-half, Leeds have done well to register a win.

Not the prettiest build up but it doesn't matter, Leeds have got the second.

Great finish by Mirco Antenucci, who came driving down the left, into the penalty box and slipped it past David Marshall as casual as you like.

  12. Cardiff 0-1 Leeds

A free-kick for Cardiff in a very dangerous area, but the wall does its job to deny Craig Noone and give Marco Silvestri a break from whipping out another cracking save. Leeds need to hold on for another few minutes.

  13. Cardiff 0-1 Leeds

David Marshall decides to show Marco Silvestri what he can do with a blinder of a save to tip Giuseppe Bellusci's effort over the bar. Six minutes of extra time ahead.

  14. Cardiff 0-1 Leeds

Craig Noone swings the ball in, it hits the post and Kenneth Zohore somehow manages to volley it into the bar. Leeds have got away with that!

  15. Cardiff 0-1 Leeds

Another cracking save from Marco Silvestri, this time to Craig Noone's fine effort that swung over the wall but went low down to Silvestri. Silvestri parried it out and Giuseppe Bellusci was there to clear it.

  16. Cardiff 0-1 Leeds

Another change for Leeds, as goalscorer Souleymane Doukara is replaced by Lee Erwin. He gets boos from the home crowd and applause from the travelling section as he takes his time getting off the pitch.

  17. Cardiff 0-1 Leeds

It's definitely nearing the end of the game as Giuseppe Bellusci goes down with cramp and gets a round of boos from the Cardiff fans for the theatrics.

  18. Cardiff 0-1 Leeds

Last substitution for Cardiff, as Kenneth Zohore replaces Stuart O'Keefe.
