Benefit cheat jailed for fraudulently claiming £150,000

A benefit cheat from Broadstairs who was caught dancing to Mariah Carey and fraudulently claimed £150,000 has been jailed for 18 months.
Lisa White, 54, was seen working in a cafe and walking unaided despite saying she needed a walking stick as well as a wheelchair to assist her mobility.

Man stabbed in Dover
Kent Police was called at 06:18 GMT on Friday 3
March 2017 after reports of an assault at an address in Frith Road, Dover.
Police officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service went
to the scene where a man was treated for stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital for medical attention.
Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident
are on-going.

Man charged after fatal collision
A lorry driver from Kent has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, following a fatal crash in Essex.
A 60-year-old woman from Grays died in the incident, at Orsett on 27 July last year.
Trevor Jenkins, 54, from Bogshole Lane in Herne Bay, is due to appear before Basildon Magistrates on 6 April.
Police officer charged with distributing indecent images
A Kent Police officer has been charged with three counts of distributing indecent images, two charges of voyeurism, two counts of taking indecent videos and two counts of distribution of indecent videos.
Timothy Neville Ryton, 45, formerly of Folkestone, was arrested on 23 January.
He was bailed to an address in Essex.
He was charged on 2 March and is due to appear at
Crawley Magistrates Court on 29 March.

Holcombe hockey's Sam Ward got on the score sheet as England's men started their 2020 Olympic cycle with a 5-2 win over South Africa in Cape Town.
Goalkeeper George Pinner captained the side, calling it his “proudest moment” in an England shirt.
Club team mate David Ames also featured in the first of the four match series.
