  16. Kent's Sam Billings picked for England squads

    Ben Watts

    Sports reporter, BBC Radio Kent

    Sam Billings

Kent wicketkeeper Sam Billings says it's a “huge honour” to be picked in both England's one-day and T20 squads against India.

The 25-year-old was part of both squads for the tour to Bangladesh, but has been retained despite the return of captain Eoin Morgan and opener Alex Hales.

He’s been given the nod ahead of specialist batsmen Ben Duckett and James Vince, who have been dropped.

Billings will head to India in the new year, following a stint at Australia’s Big Bash T20 League with the Sydney Sixers.
