  10. Hope the people up there weren't scared of heights

    Andy Comfort

    BBC Radio Humberside

There was one very good vantage point near the finish line in Scarborough, but you would have needed a head for heights:

Tour de Yorkshire 2017: Race update

Just 10km to go and the pained expressions on Quemeneur and Dunne's faces says it all.

  16. Reaction to day one of the Tour De Yorkshire

    Andy Marsters

    BBC Local Live

We are nearing the end of Stage One of the Tour de Yorkshire 2017.

In a few minutes the riders will pass through Scarborough.

They've ridden over 170km since the start in Bridlington, which must seem like an age ago to them, but these people in East Yorkshire will never forget it:

  17. Sprint finish to the end?

Tour de Yorkshire 2017: Race update

Tour de Yorkshire 2017: Race update

Now down to just 12 seconds, the leaders look like they're not going to be leaders for much longer...

  19. And then there were two

Tour de Yorkshire 2017: Race update

We're down to two in the break away with Quemeneur and Dunne, but they're looking over their shoulders at the approaching pack.

Are they done? Just 30 seconds to the pack now.

Any bets on who's going to take the Stage One win?
