  6. MoD to be reprimanded over Brecon Beacons SAS deaths

    The Ministry of Defence is to be reprimanded over the deaths of three soldiers on a training exercise by the Hereford-based SAS in the Brecon Beacons.  

    L/Cpl Edward Maher, L/Cpl Craig Roberts and Cpl James Dunsby died as a result of neglect on the 16-mile march in 2013.

  7. Travel: Another accident on the M5

    There's been a second accident on the M5 northbound - this time between J7 and J6, the two Worcester turnoffs.

    An earlier accident between J6 (Worcester) and J5 (Droitwich) has been cleared but caused long delays.

  8. Morgan unveil their first electric car

    The Malvern-based Morgan Motor Company have unveiled their first electric car at the Geneva Motor Show.

    The electric version of their three-wheeler sports car will have a range of 150 miles, the company says.

  9. Travel: All lanes back open on the M5

    All lanes are back open on the M5 northbound after the accident involving two HGVs just after 13:00.

    Two lanes were closed between J6 (Worcester) and J5 (Droitwch)while the debris was cleared, and traffic was stationary in the area.

  10. M5 accident: HGV driver taken to hospital

    The driver of an HGV has been taken to hospital after two lorries collided on the M5, police say.

    The police say they were called to the accident on the M5 between J6 (Worcester) and J5 (Droitwich) at 13:06.

    Two lanes of the motorway were closed and traffic on the motorway was taking an hour to get through the area. Both lanes are back open. More from BBC Travel.

    It looks as if roads around the accident on the M5 northbound between J6 (Worcester) and J5 (Droitwich) are beginning to clog up as drivers look for alternative routes.

    A Worcester landlord says he's delighted that his pub is the first in the city to be registered as an Asset of Community Value. 

    The Chestnut Pub on Lansdowne Road will now be protected against anyone in the future who wants to sell the pub, giving locals the chance to put together a bid to buy it.
