    Tomorrow will be a largely dry day with sunny spells and the chance of the odd isolated shower.

  4. Horse sanctuary 'relying on charity' due to rising costs

    A sanctuary which cares for 90 horses, has said "there's not a penny left in the bank"

    Pablos, near Melton Mowbray, is surviving thanks to the charity of their local food supplier and vet.

    Owner Carole Fields said: “[The cost of everything] has gone up this year so hay is fetching silly money now because of the shortage.

    “The farmers which supply us and our wonderful vets continue to supply us because they know at some point they’ll get their money.”

  6. Flybe sale approved by shareholders

    Low-cost airline Flybe is moving forward with its sale to Connect Airways.

    Shareholders have voted in favour of the £2.8m deal with the consortium of Virgin Atlantic, Stobart Air and Cyrus Capital.

    The airline operates seven routes from East Midlands Airport.

  7. Police concerned for missing teenager

    Concern is growing for Samantha Davies, who was last seen on Saturday evening.

    CCTV footage captured the teenager, from Thurnby Lodge, getting into a car at 21:40 in Fairfax Road, Humberstone.

    A family member had seen her getting off a bus in St George’s Way, close to St George's Retail Park, earlier that evening.

  9. Four to appear at court tomorrow charged with murder

    Four people will appear at Derby Crown Court tomorrow charged with the murder of a man.

    Lance Martin, 24, was found in Normanton with serious injuries on Thursday, but later died in hospital.

    Kerian Bareham, 30 and Francesca Butler, 23 - both of Portland Street - and Jamie Butler, 42, and Clara Butler, 21 - both from Marlborough Road - were remanded in custody when they appeared at Derby Magistrates' Court earlier today.

  12. Motorpoint Arena pays tribute to Keith Flint

    The Motorpoint Arena has paid tribute to The Prodigy singer Keith Flint, who has died aged 49.

    The venue tweeted: "An iconic frontman, we had the pleasure of welcoming him and The Prodigy just a few months ago.

    "It was a tremendous night."

    The band most recently performed in Nottingham in November.

  13. Notts boss 'meeting prospective buyers'

    The Notts County chairman has said he'll meet with prospective buyers of the club over the next few days.

    Alan Hardy claims to have received two formal offers to buy the football club - both, he says, meet his expectations.

    He says he plans to meet with the interested parties and grant one a "period of exclusivity" to carry out due diligence and complete the sale.
