  6. Adam Smith 'won't be released' by Alfreton

    Adam Smith (pictured), 31, would buy hundreds of pounds worth of clothes from TK Maxx before claiming he'd put the money on the wrong card. 

    He'd be refunded, keep the receipt and claim refunds several times over.

    Alfreton Town say they won't release him as the incidents took place before he signed and they will "support him through this difficult time".

  7. Fraudster footballer gets suspended sentence

    Alfreton town footballer Adam Smith has been given a two-year suspended sentence prison sentence for defrauding a retail company out of more than £22,000.

  10. Four questioned over attempted murder

    Police have arrested four men on suspicion of attempted murder after a fight in Belper last month which left two people with serious injuries. 

    The altercation happened on 2 December at about 22.45 outside the Green House pub in King Street.

    All four men have been questioned and released on bail while further investigations continue.

    He was born at 00:30 on New Year's Day and weighed 6lb 2oz.

    This video, which tells the story of Leicestershire teenager Kayleigh Haywood, who was murdered after being groomed online, is also going to be shown at schools in Derbyshire.

  14. Police probe taxi sex assault

    A woman who got into a taxi with a friend says she was sexually assaulted by the driver.

    The attack is alleged to have happened after the pair were picked up outside The King's Head in Ilkeston at about 02:30 on New Year's Day.

  16. Attempted murder arrests after Belper pub fight

    Four people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a fight outside a pub in Belper.

    A 27-year-old suffered serious injuries in the altercation, which happened outside The Green House in King Street in early December.

    Police are questioning a 23-year-old man from Nottingham and three other men from Eastwood in Notts.
