  4. Keogh: Pressure's on the relegated sides to go up

    Derby defender Richard Keogh has been speaking about how the pressure might not be on the Rams as much this season as it was last time out.

    "I think the money that they're (Newcastle and Aston Villa) are spending will mean the pressure is on them," Keogh told BBC Radio Derby's Owen Bradley. 

    "It'll be about whether they can handle that."

    For some sort of context - Transline Group and another agency, The Best Connection, provide about 3,000 members of staff for Sports Direct.

    An employment agency which provides staff for Sports Direct's warehouse in Shirebrook has responded to claims it could be in contempt of Parliament.

    Transline Group, who are paid £50m a year by the sportwear retailer, were criticised by MPs two weeks ago.  

    They were accused of giving "woefully poor, and in some cases, incorrect evidence." 

    Transline have told the BBC it has responded to these claims within the deadline, "maintaining our position of providing transparent and accurate information." 

  8. Murder charge following Chesterfield death

    An 18-year-old has been charged with the murder of a man in Chesterfield. 

    It relates to the death of Darren Broadbent who was found on Monday 1 August. 

    Jaiden Browne-Evans, from Sheffield, will appear before magistrates on Monday.

  10. Sink hole causing delays in Derby

    If you are heading home from work this evening you might want to be aware of a sink hole that has opened up in the Five Lamps area of the city. 

    It's at the junction of Garden Street and Lodge Lane and is thought to be at least four metres deep. 

  11. Former cop jailed over child sex pics

    A former police officer from Derbyshire has been jailed for six months for making indecent images of children. 

    Scott Mayor, 45, from Inkersall, worked for the Nottinghamshire force and was dismissed from his job in 2015. 

    He admitted six charges at Derby Crown Court yesterday.
